Measuring is very Easy!!!
Simply follow the instructions below to help you place your order, so you can be sure to supply accurate measurements, using a metal tape measure for accuracy is always the best option. Recess Fit (Inside window Frame)
- First ensure that the recess your blind is going into is not obstructed in any way so the blind can hang freely when fully extended
- Make sure the recess is deep enough for the product you wish to purchase
- Measure the total width from A to B and the length from C to D. Do this in several places to allow for any slight variation or irregularity in your windows
- Make a note of the narrowest of these measurements, to the nearest millimetre using a metal tape measure
Exact Fit (Outside Window Frame)
Decide how far you want the fabric to overlap on all sides – we recommend this should be at least 45mm, the same applies to venetian blinds- Note that all blinds are measured from outside edge to outside edge including any brackets or mechanism, if you require the fabric on a roller blinds to cover the full frame, add a further 35mm for the winding mechanism
- Carefully measure the width from E to F. Measure from G to H to the length you require
- Make a note of these measurements to the nearest millimetre using a metal tape measure
